Just Dogs based in Thatcham, near Newbury, Berkshire, is now offering Dog Grooming Training Courses as well as well as its normal day to day grooming service. Our dog grooming parlour can now operate as both a Salon and as a Training Centre.

Just Dogs has, for the past ten years, provided a grooming service for clients in the Berkshire area and will continue to do so. However, obtaining City and Guilds qualifications in Dog Grooming & Training means that we are now able to help others to groom their own dogs, or get started in this most satisfying of industries.

Dog Grooming Services

Here at Just Dogs, we provide a high quality dog grooming service and offer various grooming styles and techniques. Established with a wide range of breeds on our records, we offer a vast base of knowledge. Your dog will be in safe hands in a friendly environment, where the happy atmosphere is calm and relaxed. The dog grooming parlour is owned and run by Julie, a fully qualified City & Guilds professional dog groomer with over 10 years experience.

Our core business has always been a dog grooming parlour and we would never abandon all our existing clients for the sake of setting up the Training Centre. The school will run alongside the day to day dog grooming service, which means we will continue delivering our usual excellent service, only in newer surroundings.

Dog Grooming Training Courses

Our aim at the Training School is to give you, the student, the foundation to become a competent groomer, leading to a professional standard. The training will enable you to gain confidence and knowledge to become successful in the field of Dog Grooming, in a practical and fun way.

The centre will teach all students to City and Guilds Standard, giving you an insight as to what can be achieved and the opportunity to continue their training in various ways. There will be guidelines on the courses available within the City & Guilds which is ever changing. Allowing you to have the necessary time to gain experience whilst working towards your City & Guilds qualifications.

We offer various courses to accommodate your level in learning; from novice through to those with some experience, we have a course for you.
