Dog Grooming Troubleshooting - Problem Solving

b1Whether you're just starting your own dog grooming business or you've been established for a number of years, there can be times when you need extra help and support, even though you know you've done all the training, etc. Sometimes getting your business to run smoothly can be difficult, causing you undue stress and concern. You may even question if you've done the right thing or if it's time to call it a day. Your confidence can take a big knock if bookings start to dry up and you wonder if you'll ever make a success of your business.

This is where I can help, my troubleshooting service couples my 10 years of experience running a successful dog grooming parlour, together with my training qualifications (See About Us) and allows me to analyse your business and identify areas we can work on together to help drive your business foward.

The service involves me spending a day or half a day working alongside you and advising you on different ways to tackle some of the day to day issues you may have. This includes problem areas such as:

  • Booking in and making an appointment diary work for you.
  • Training your customers in the benefits of regular grooming of their pets.
  • Handling difficult dogs.
  • Equipment - choosing the right equipment that will work for you within your business; the benefits of maintenance on looking after your blades and scissors etc
  • Advertising and Marketing your business.
  • Setting up good daily routines to improve your organisational skills.
  • Reading dog behaviour and body language. Understanding a dogs behaviour when in your parlour.
  • Correct bathing, drying and styling techniques.

I would also be happy to visit you to offer advice on the initial setting up of your business, offering advice on all aspects of your parlor, shampoos, managing your diary and keeping good records. We'll discuss a typical day and all the benefits and pitfalls that may occur and give you peace of mind and encourage you to move forward with confidence.

My fees are:

Half Day - £250.00 (4hours) plus travel expenses, please ask for a quote.

Full Day - £500.00 plus travel expenses, please ask for a quote.
