Dog Grooming Training Centre Facilities

You will be trained in a purpose built grooming parlour all on one level that offers the following facilities:-

• Small Reception Area: - where dogs are booked in.
• Dog Bathing Area: - featuring a static full length bath.
• The Parlour: - light and airy, used for drying and grooming the dogs.

General Equipment

Students on a 1 day course can use the training schools equipment.

For students doing longer courses, it is advisable that you bring your own scissors and clippers, or use the training schools equipment if this is going to be a problem. Please inform the school, who will only be too happy to help with some loan equipment.

If you wish to bring your own, then please do, but it must be up to grooming standards. We have all types of equipment here for you to use, this will help you make your personal choices on what equipment is right for you. I must point out that dropping equipment (i.e. scissors and blades) renders them useless. Therefore, we ask that you PLEASE take great care with the training schools equipment.

We have a Tesco Metro close by. Tea and Coffee will be provided by the school.

The school is near to Thatcham Town centre where there are several pubs and restaurants for an evening meal.

Newbury Town centre is a ten minute car journey.
