Dog Grooming Training Courses in Berkshire,
Hampshire & Wiltshire.
Below we have provided some information on the dog grooming courses available and the payment details.
All courses require a reservation fee of 20%. The remainder of the course fee is payable, in full, 20 days prior to the course start date.
You will receive a manual* once you have paid for the course in full, and before you start. This is for you to keep; it will build into a comprehensive
information manual that you will add to week by week during your course. This information is the foundation of the training school and its teaching. *Please note the
One Day Taster Course does not receive a manual*
The One Day Taster Course is payable in full when you book. You will receive some written general information on
the day.
1 Day Taster Course: £150.00 + Vat
10.00am – 3.00pm 2nd and 3rd Saturday in the month, and some weekdays.
A One Day Taster Course will give you an insight into the world of dog grooming. The course covers pre bath health checks, bathing,
and drying. Please note that clipping and scissoring is not covered,
but you will see how we style and groom. You will experience and sample working with dogs in a practical working parlour, helping you decide on a future in dog grooming.
All demonstrations will be on equipment used in a parlour. You will be given handouts on
the day with practical information, helping you in your new career.
Bring your camera so that pictures can be taken of the dogs before and after.
5 Day Bronze Course (1 week): £500.00 + Vat
Monday – Friday. We start at 8.00am – 4.00pm on the first day of your course.
Allowing us time to talk through Health & Safety and fire precautions, general talk on codes of practice within the training school.
Tuesday – Thursday 9.00am – 4.00pm half hour for lunch.
Friday 9.00am – 2.00pm
This course covers all of the taster day, with some basics in Dog Grooming.
You will have a chance to cover some of the practical procedures within a working parlour.
It will be hands on, from bathing, drying and combing out, ear cleaning,
and nail clipping. Also includes some basic scissoring and clipping on feet and feathers.

10 Day Silver Course(2 weeks): £1000.00 + Vat
Monday – Friday. We start at 8.00am – 4.00pm on the first day of your course.
Allowing us time to talk through Health & Safety and fire precautions, general talk on codes of practice within the training school.
Tuesday – Thursday 9.00am – 4.00pm half hour for lunch.
Friday 9.00am – 2.00pm
This course covers some basics in Dog Grooming. You will have a chance to cover some of the practical procedures within a working parlour.
It will be hands on: bathing, drying and combing out, ear cleaning, nail clipping.
Also includes basic clipping and scissoring. In addition, correct handling of
the dog on the table, being able to understand and recognise health problems,
de-matting and hand stripping
using various equipment.
Your course work and modules completed during the course will go towards
your final marks and certificate .
The certificate will detail all that you have learnt on your course.

20 Day Gold Course (4 weeks): £2000.00 + Vat
Monday – Friday. We start at 8.00am – 4.00pm on the first day of your course.
Allowing us time to talk through Health & Safety and fire precautions, general talk on codes of practice within the training school.
Tuesday – Thursday 9.00am – 4.00pm half hour for lunch.
Friday 9.00am – 2.00pm
This course will be in-depth and very hands on, giving you the foundation to pursue your goal in becoming a professional.
This course will help and provide you with the knowledge needed
and in addition give you plenty of practical experience with various breeds. The course covers the following:
- Running a business, booking in of dogs and managing your diary and record cards.
- Health and Safety within the work place, safety within the parlour
and Basic First Aid
- Handling of dogs correctly
- When ticks and fleas are present
- Customer Care
- Managing and keeping detailed records
- Ear cleaning, Nail Clipping
- Brushing out, de-matting and bathing
- Correct use of shampoos for different coats
- Drying and Blasting
- Correct clipping, hand stripping and scissoring techniques
- Maintaining and cleaning of blades and equipment
- Blade types and their different uses
- Dog Parlour cleaning and keeping equipment
- Advertising
Your course work and modules completed during the course will go towards your final marks and certificate .
The certificate will detail all that you have learnt on your course.

30 Day Platinum Course (6 weeks): £3000.00 + Vat
Monday – Friday. We start at 8.00am – 4.00pm on the first day of your course.
Allowing us time to talk through Health & Safety and fire precautions, general talk on codes of practice within the training school.
Tuesday – Thursday 9.00am – 4.00pm half hour for lunch.
Friday 9.00am – 2.00pm
If you want to run your own business, this course gives you longer to gain confidence and experience.
You will have time to groom a dog from start to finish near the end of the course,
under our guidance and supervision. Your modules will be revisited if you need longer on certain areas.
You will have the opportunity of dealing with a variety of breeds. It will be in-depth and very hands on, giving you the foundation to pursue your goal in becoming a professional.
This course will help provide the knowledge needed, and will give you
